Report for lesson on 15th of
March and 19th of April
with piano played by Yui san

  1. What we did in the lesson
Today we held an English lesson for young children using music,
dancing, and picture books. We started the lesson with a cheerful
greeting in English and introduced ourselves, while Yui was playing
    the piano.
After the introduction, we sang the ABC song together. The children
were encouraged to sing along and follow the rhythm. Then we
moved on to the story time, where we read a picture book to
deepen the understanding of the Alphabet (“A is for Apple”).
Next, we had a music and movement activity with the bird song.
The children watched the demonstration and then moved their
bodies along with the music, pretending to be little birds.
At the end of the lesson, we reviewed the alphabet again using ABC
cards and repeated the song. We finished with a goodbye song and
    a short closing message.
  2. What I taught the student
The goal of this lesson was to help children learn basic English
through songs, repetition, and physical movement. The main focus
    was on:

greetings (hello, how are you)

alphabet (A–Z)

simple vocabulary (apple, bird, etc.)

basic questions (“What is this?”)
I also encouraged the children to respond physically and verbally,
even if it was just repeating simple words.

  1. How did I make it easy to understand
I used simple English, repetition, and gestures to make the lesson
easy to follow. I demonstrated every activity first so the children
    could copy the movements.
Visual support like picture books and alphabet cards helped the
children connect words with images. Music also played an
important role, because it made it easier for them to remember
    words and stay engaged.
I also maintained eye contact, smiled, and stayed at the children’s
eye level to create a comfortable learning environment.
  2. The student’s favourite part
The children especially enjoyed the movement activities and songs.
The greeting song and the bird song were very popular because
they could move their bodies and have fun at the same time. They
were also excited during the ABC song and liked pointing at the
    alphabet cards together.
  3. My favourite part
My favourite part of the lesson was seeing the children actively
singing and enjoying the activities. Their smiles and energy during
the songs and movements made the lesson very lively. I also
enjoyed the story time, because it was a good moment to connect
    language with imagination
